A job for the Sway

Dear Skipper,

Ports all round Australia are waiting on cargo, and yours is the only boat free.

The hold is packed with oranges, tea, fish and barrels, and some of those barrels are heavy. Every swipe tilts her, so match the cargo, keep her level and bring every crate in safe.

I'll fly ahead to every port and tell you its story when you arrive.

Fair winds,PellyHarbourmaster

P.S. A crate by the gangway keeps saying mrrp. I'm sure it's nothing.

Tilt the hold, chain big combos

Every swipe tilts the hold, and all the cargo slides the way you swiped. Line up three of a kind to clear them. Bigger matches make Waves, Cranes, Whirlpools and Lanterns, and swapping two of them together sets off a bigger combo.

Heavy barrels lean the boat, so unload them before she tips too far.

In the game: the tug's hold seen from above, packed with oranges, lemons, plums and tea tins, as a combo of 15 lights up the cargo.

Build your own seaside town

Build up a town by the sea, piece by piece: houses, shops, gardens and native plants, with lighthouses and landmarks from the ports you reach.

New pieces open as you play. Each one arrives in a planned spot, and Build mode lets you move it wherever you like. Give your town and your boat their own names.

In the game: the Port, a seaside town seen from above, with streets, gardens, houses and a harbour, and signs for the Captain's Log, the Daily Tide, the Bounty Board, the Ship's Wheel and the Shipyard.

Sail the real Australian coast

Each voyage sails a real stretch of coast, port to port, past lighthouses, jetties and famous spots. Whales blow, dolphins leap and buoys blink as you go.

There are 100 levels along the coast, with new cargo, weather and board pieces as you sail.

In the game: the Voyage Map from Port Lincoln to Adelaide, with numbered stops along a dashed sea lane round the coast.

Hear a true story at every port

Reach a new port and Pelly the pelican harbourmaster tells its story: whose Country it is, the place's own name and a few true facts, each with its source.

In the game: Albany's story. Beside a painting of whales in a sunny bay, Pelly says that from June to October, humpback and southern right whales visit Albany's calm, sheltered bays to rest and have their calves.

Postcards from the coast

Sailing from Fremantle, the seven voyages end at Albany, Esperance, Port Lincoln, Adelaide, Portland, Melbourne and Hobart. Every port has six postcards to collect, of the port and the coast on the way in.

Free sea friends from ghost nets

Out on the coast, sea animals get caught in ghost nets and floating rubbish. Win a rescue to set one free, and it gets a page in your logbook with a true fact about how it lives.

There are fourteen to free, each a kind that really lives on that stretch of the coast.

In the game: a sign that says Freed!, with a humpback whale in a brass porthole and the rewards for the rescue.

One free spin a day, never sold

Spin the Ship's Wheel once a day, for free. The spin is never sold and can't be bought with doubloons, and its chances are shown on the Wheel's page.

In the game: the Ship's Wheel on a lamplit dock at night, with the line One free spin a day, it's never sold, and a Spin button.

Dress up your ship with stars

Win stars at every stop and spend them at the Shipyard on hull paint, sails, flags, lanterns and figureheads.

Every voyage you finish brings a bigger ship, from a little tug to a windjammer.

In the game: the Shipyard at night, with a cargo ship in dry dock and hull paints such as Tugboat red and Harbour blue, each priced in stars.
